The weirdest and most fun trailer ever
Being a Mac user, and into films means I frequently visit the Apple trailers page. Usually its full of the normal mainstream movies but every now and again they surprise you and today they certainly have by posting two really good looking trailers for films I hadn’t really heard much about before or had much interest in.
First up is a trailer for Big Man Japan. It’s complete and utter madness and looks insanely fun. A middle-aged slacker living in a rundown, graffiti-ridden slum, Daisato’s job involves being shocked by bolts of electricity that transform him into a stocky, stick-wielding giant several stories high who is entrusted with defending Japan from a host of bizarre monsters. But while his predecessors were national heroes, he is a pariah among the citizens he protects, who bitterly complain about the noise and destruction of property he causes.
This trailer’s slightly different to the Apple one, if you want to see their one go here.
Next up is Alien Trespass. I can’t work out if this is a B movie our just a piss take of a B movie, either way it look like a lot of fun. Set in 1957, ALIEN TRESPASS chronicles a fiery object from space that crashes into a mountaintop in the California desert, bringing the threat of disaster to Earth. Out of the flying saucer escapes a murderous creature - the Ghota, which is bent on destroying all life forms on the planet. A benevolent alien from the spaceship, Urp, inhabits the body of Ted Lewis (Eric McCormack) - a local astronomer - and with the help of Tammy, (Jenni Baird) a waitress from the local diner, sets out to save mankind.
