Twentysomething sci-fi geek Ray (O’Dowd) works at an amusement park with fellow dweeb Toby (Wootton) and down-to-earth scallywag Pete (Lennox Kelly). When Ray is fired, the three head to their local where, after a trip to the gents, sci-fi hating Pete experiences a bizarre vision of the future in which everyone in the pub has been horribly murdered.
Meanwhile, Ray bumps into the beautiful Cassie (Faris) at the bar, who promptly informs him that she is from the future and a huge fan of his ground-breaking work on time travel.
