So Filmchair.com have just finished spending time at its first film festival. So what actually happens at these things? Is it just Hollywood parties, boozing, chatting up hot film stars, being cool to be seen? Well it might be but we didn’t get involved with any of that.
So what did we do? Well here is our tale of how we embraced the festival.

Max lives in Brooklyn. He enjoys playing soccer, skateboarding, and drinking with his friends at local bars. Last summer he and his girlfriend, Willow, won a free cruise to Jamaica but two days before the trip she dumps him cold. When his friends flake, Max winds up alone on the high seas, navigating the crowds of gray-haired cruisers. Over the course of several days he flirts with the staff photographer, drinks cocktails with the boat’s celebrity juggler and has several strange encounters with the only other loner.

The Boys are Back
October 29, 2009
Inspired by a true story, THE BOYS ARE BACK is a deeply moving, wryly confessional tale of fatherhood, that intimately evokes both the fragility and wonders of family life. It follows a witty, wisecracking, action-oriented sports writer who, in the wake of his wife’s tragic death, finds himself in a sudden, stultifying state of single parenthood.

Ross Brothers Interview
October 24, 2009
As part of The Times 51st BFI London Film Festival filmchair.com was able to have its first ever face to face interview with a couple of documentary film makers. During the festival every other afternoon a afternoon tea event is held, The film itself is a reflection of a small town in the United States but it is powerfully funny, tragic, and interesting. To read the review please click here but for the interview please see below.
The Directors Bill Ross the 4th and Turner Ross are two brothers from the small town in the USA who made a reflection of time. The two of them combined and made the film together.
