Stormbreaker

Alex Rider is a 14-year-old orphan who has been unwittingly trained all his life by his uncle with the skills to become a secret agent — scuba diving, mountaineering, martial arts and so on. When his guardian, an MI6 agent, is killed, Rider learns the truth and finds himself forced against his will to take on a dangerous mission for the British secret service.

Action and adventure that young kids to grandparents will enjoy. A James Bond like story line with mixes of the transporter, wanted and love actually. The all star mostly British cast make this film flow effortlessly while not being too patronising to a the audience.

Based on a book of the same name Alex Rider is hopefully going to be with us for many years to come leading us on such adventures. Making enemies along his path and letting some escape opens the door for us to be taken into a modern world where English children can once again dream of being a secret agent.

What stands out about this film is the brilliance of all the characters, Darrius Sayle played by Mickey Rourke portrays the main bad guy switching from Ledgers Joker to the subtleness of the badie in inspector gadget. I would strongly recommend this to everyone as a great film.
