Lethal Weapon 1

In Loaded Weapon 1, National Lampoon spoofs box office hits such as silence of the Lambs, Basic instinct, and, most obviously, the Leathal Weapon series. Emilio Estevez and Samuel L. Jackson head up a comic cast that also includes Jon Lovitz, William Shatner, Tim Curry, Denis Leary, and F. Murray Abraham.

True spoof before the genre was destroyed by modern tat which really should not even be made. With a leafy story which really is only there so that the gags can be kept rolling and give a build up to a conclusion this film will make your day.

 

With a host of stars making cameos from Charlie Sheen to the fully Die Hard vested Bruce Willis whilst also incorporating Scotty from Star Trek to moan ‘I just don’t have the power captain.’

The gag real is endless and truly funny being based on the blockbusters of the late 80’s and early 90’s by now you should have seen all the movies parodies are made of, and it will remind you that maybe it is worth going back to that era to watch some more serious films.
