Hitman

Agent 47 has been educated, from his genetically-engineered “birth”, to become a professional assassin for hire, whose most powerful weapons are his nerve and a resolute pride in his work. 47 is both the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on the back of his head and his only name. He is hired by a group known as ‘The Agency’ to kill selected targets for cash…But the hunter soon becomes the hunted.

Hitman - I wish he took me out before watching.

Action from the start of this picture leads you into to an amazing world of organised assignation. With the freaky baldness and milky skin of our main character you instantly feel that this man is a stone cold killer. Where a Bond or a Bourne would have flaws and would certainly have bedded the very sexy leading lady (who did go on and star in Quantum of Solace).

But the story does have a slight annoyance with the lack of background on how 47 came to be. A throwaway line to explain the whole unwanted kids trained to kill just does not explain his complete detest of human interaction.

As the plot thickens there is always a slight inclining in the back of your mind that something is missing. I am led to believe that the computer game which is the base and original concept is considerably better then the almost robotic acting of agent 47. However, if you enjoy stuff exploding from every direction and graphic scenes of people getting shot and their head coming clean off, I would recommend this film. Moreover, spend the money and buy the game.
