The award recognises five international actors and actresses whose talent has inspired popular acclaim from the British public. On the 1st December, Noel Clarke, winner of the Orange Rising Star Award in 2009, joined fellow jurors to cast their final votes for the 2010 Orange Rising Star Award nominee list. Orange treats film fans to a unique Halloween experience

Orange has just announced a unique screening to reward film fans. On 30th October fans of their Facebook Film Club will be treated to a true Halloween classic in an inspired location in London.

Orange will add sensory twists by providing the audience with state-of-the-art wireless headphones, as well as special effects during the screening including fog and wind. Lionsgate set to Kick-Ass in 2010

LIONSGATE, the leading next generation studio, announced today that it has acquired U.S. and Canadian distribution rights to KICK-ASS, the hotly anticipated action-comedy from writer/director Matthew Vaughn (LAYER CAKE, STARDUST). Based on the groundbreaking, best-selling comic by Mark Millar and John Romita Jr., KICK-ASS stars Nicolas Cage (the upcoming SEASON OF THE WITCH, KNOWING, NATIONAL TREASURE), rising star Aaron Johnson (the upcoming NOWHERE BOY), Christopher Mintz-Plasse (SUPERBAD) and Chloë Moretz ((500) DAYS OF SUMMER). The screenplay is written by Vaughn and Jane Goldman. The producers are Matthew Vaughn, Brad Pitt, Tarquin Pack and Kris Thykier; Millar and Romita Jr. are co-producers.
